Curtains Information

Jason Manford and Carley Stenson are set to star in Kander and Ebb's musical whodunnit Curtains at the Wyndham's Theatre in the West End this Christmas, with tickets for the production now on sale.

Manford plays Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, a Boston detective with a passion for musicals who is tasked with solving the mystery of a back-stake murder at a local theatre. The show first opened on Broadway in 2007, and was first seen in London in 2012 at the Landor Theatre in Clapham. It will get its West End premiere in December 2019.

Curtains is at Wyndham's Theatre from 13th December to 11th January, with tickets now on sale.

Jason Manford has previously appeared in musicals such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls, The Producers and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He has also hosted the Olivier Awards on two occasions - 2017 and 2019 -  and in 2018, he released an album full of musical theatre hits titled A Different Stage.

Carley Stenson has appeared in many West End musicals, including Shrek: The Musical, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables and Spamalot. She stars as Niki Harris in this production of Curtains.

Paul Foster directs this production, which tours the UK prior to its West End run at Wyndham's, with choreography from Alistair David, sets by David Woodhead, costumes by Gabriella Slade, lighting by Tim Mitchell and sound design by Tom Marshall.

Curtains is based on the original concept by Peter Stone, and the musical has a book by Rupert Holmes, music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb. Kander and Ebb are responsible for musicals the likes of Chicago and Cabaret.
