Tom Fletcher's debut novel The Christmasaurus is adapted for the stage with brand new songs written by Fletcher. Tom Fletcher's career took off in 2004 when, after a few years writing music for pop-rock band Busted, he started his own band, McFly. Their debut single "5 Colours in Her Hair" shot to number one in the UK Singles Chart and was followed by the equally successful single "Obviously" and the double-platinum first album 'Room on the 3rd Floor'. Since then, McFly have gone on to great success (at times teaming up with their friends in Busted). In 2012, Fletcher wrote his first book The Dinosaur The Pooped Christmas with bandmate Dougie Poynter, and in 2016, he released his first debut novel* The Christmasaurus*.

The Christmasaurus tells the story of a boy called William Trundle who, on Christmas Eve, travels to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus, but stumbles across a dinosaur.

Fletcher will perform in the show alongside his wife Giovanna Fletcher, his sister Carrie Hope Fletcher, who has recently appeared on stage in musicals The Addams Family and Les Miserables. McBusted bandmates Harry Judd and Matt Willis will also make appearances in the musical.
