The Albany Theatre is a theatre in Deptford, south-east London and was officially opened by Diana, Princess of Wales. It contains a main space and two studios Albany & Red. The theatre was originally established by the Deptford Fund in the late 19th century, aiming to assist the local community. In the 1970s, a touring theatre company named The Combination became resident artists at the Albany, with productions aiming to bring the community together through the arts.
