Daniel Radcliffe On Stage - Theatre Credits, Bio and Tickets

Daniel Radcliffe was born in London in 1989. He made his acting debut aged 10 in Charles Dicken’s David Copperfield, adapted by BBC One and televised in 1999.

Radcliffe is most famously known for his title role in the Harry Potter film series adapted from J.K.Rowling’s best-selling novels, playing the role from age 11 for ten years. For his performance as Harry Potter in the fourth film in the series; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he earned the National Movie Award for Best Male Performance. Other notable film works include his role in December Boys and the film adaptation of The Woman in Black. 

Radcliffe made his stage debut in 2002 in The Play What I Wrote, directed by Kenneth Branagh at Wyndham’s Theatre, making an appearance as the Mystery Guest. In 2007, Radcliffe starred in Equus alongside Harry Potter co-star Richard Griffiths at the Gielgud Theatre. A few years later, he then made his musical debut as J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at the Al Hirschfield Theatre on Broadway, receiving a Drama Desk Award. Later, he performed at the Noel Coward Theatre as Billy Claven Martin McDonagh’s dark comedy, The Cripple of Inishmaan. In 2016 Radcliffe returned to Broadway in Privacy, the play about NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. Snowden appeared in the performance via video. 

Recently, Radcliffe has starred in productions at the Old Vic. In 2017, he played the first title character in Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and then starred alongside Alan Cumming in Endgame in 2020.
