Hailey Bachrach

Hailey Bachrach writes copy by day and about theatre by night. She wrote about Shakespeare until they gave her a PhD in it, and you can read more of her writing about his plays at shakespeare.substack.com. She has also worked as a dramaturg in New York and London, including at Shakespeare's Globe. 

Her favourite Shakespeare plays are the histories (and her least favourite is The Taming of the Shrew). Her first and purest love, however, is for musicals, her all-time favourites including Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Fun Home, Les Miserables, Ragtime, and Into the Woods.
