Phil Daniels On Stage - Theatre Credits, Bio and Tickets

Phil Daniels

Phil Daniels was born in 1958 in Islington, London, and attended the Anna Scher Theatre School as a child. Since then, Daniels has established himself in television, film, theatre and music.

Daniels started his career at the age of 17 appearing in Bugsy Malone as a waiter. He then played Jimmy Cooper in Quadrophenia, the title role in Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire and voiced the character Fletcher in Chicken Run

On television, he played Kevin Wicks in EastEnders for 208 episodes. He has also appeared on music records, notably "Parklife" by Blur. He has also released singles with his band, Phil Daniels + The Cross.

On stage, Daniels has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company in A Clockwork Orange, The Jew of Malta and The Merchant of Venice. He has also appeared in pantomime as The Magic Mirror in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Marlowe Theatre in 2008. He has also appeared at Shakespeare's Globe in various roles such as Enobarbus in Antony & Cleopatra and Big God in The God of the Soho. In musicals, he's played Thenardier in Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre.

More recently, Daniels has starred in This House at the National Theatre and its West End transfer at the Garrick Theatre. In 2022, he starred in Cock at the Ambassadors Theatre, alongside Jonathan Bailey and Taron Egerton.
