The West End production of Pretty Woman: The Musical will continue its run this summer, transferring to the Savoy Theatre. Performances will resume from 8 July at the Savoy Theatre, with Pretty Woman: The Musical tickets now on sale.

On behalf of all the producers, Paula Wagner said: "Our London production of Pretty Woman: The Musical had just opened when the world changed and our cherished theatres were forced to close due to the pandemic. With the move to our new home, the Savoy Theatre, we are able to return to share our joy with many more people."

Based on the 1990 film of the same name starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, Pretty Woman: The Musical sees two strangers come together in unexpected ways. Edward Lewis is a wealthy businessman, Vivian Ward is a free spirited woman. Together, they overcome the odds to transform their lives.

Lead casting remains unchanged, with Danny Mac as Edward Lewis and Aimie Atkinson as Vivian Ward. Rachael Wooding plays Kit De Luca, with Bob Harms as the Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Neil McDermott as Philip Stuckey and Mark Holden as James Morse.

The full cast is completed by Jemma Alexander, Andy Barke, Kimberly Blake, Katie Bradley, Oliver Brenin, Olivia Brookes, Alex Charles, Olly Christopher, Ben Darcy, Hannah Ducharme, Nicholas Duncan, Paige Fenlon, Damon Gould, Alex Hammond, Tom Andrew Hargreaves, Antony Hewitt, Matt Jones, Serina Mathew, Katie Monks, Joanna Woodward and Charlotte Yorke.

Pretty Woman: The Musical features a book by Garry Marshall and the Pretty Woman film screenwriter J.F. Lawton. Original music and lyrics are by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, including the Roy Orbison track "Oh, Pretty Woman".

The West End production of Pretty Woman: The Musical began performances at the Piccadilly Theatre on 13 Feb. 2020, but was forced to suspend its run a month later due to the pandemic. In a review for LondonTheatre.co.uk, Mark Shenton praised the lead actors, saying: "[Danny] Mac succeeds in having plenty of charm, [while Aimie Atkinson] has a perfect combination of quirky vulnerability and the strength of a survivor."

Pretty Woman: The Musical is at the Savoy Theatre from 8 July.
