Isobel McArthur's adaptation of Pride and Prejudice* (sort of) will receive its West End premiere later this year. The all-female adaptation will begin performances at the Criterion Theatre from 1 October. Pride and Prejudice* (sort of) tickets in London details are to be announced.

In a tweet from Daily Mail entertainment reporter Baz Bamigboye, McArthur and fellow female actors play all roles in a "wickedly witty take".

McArthur's adaptation is inspired by the 1813 Jane Austen romantic novel, but has been revamped with over 200 years of recent history. In press material, "men, money and microphones will be fought over" with ruthless match-making.

Casting for the West End transfer of Pride and Prejudice* (sort of) is to be announced. The previous cast included McArthur alongside Christina Gordon, Hannah Jarrett-Scott, Meghan Tyler, Tori Burgess and Felixe Forde.

The Criterion Theatre opened earlier this week with the West End transfer of Amelie, starring Audrey Brisson. Amelie tickets are on sale now.
