‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ announces full West End cast

Performances begin at the Gielgud Theatre in March.

All rise for the full West End cast of To Kill a Mockingbird. To Kill a Mockingbird begins previews at the Gielgud Theatre on 10 March, ahead of an opening night on 31 March, and To Kill a Mockingbird tickets are on sale now. 

The Olivier Award-nominated actor Rafe Spall leads the company as Atticus Finch. Recently, Spall has starred in plays at the National Theatre, including Death of England and Hedda Gabler. The To Kill a Mockingbird cast includes Gwyneth Keyworth as Scout Finch, Harry Redding as Jem Finch, Jude Owusu as Tom Robinson, Harry Attwell as Mr Cunningham/Boo Radley, David Moorst as Dill Harris, Pamela Nomvete as Calpurnia, Jim Norton as Judge Taylor and Patrick O'Kane as Bob Ewell.

Amanda Boxer will play Mrs Henry Dubose, with Poppy Lee Friar as Mayella Ewell, John Hastings as Bailiff, Simon Hepworth as Mr Roscoe/Dr Reynolds, Laura Howard as Miss Stephanie/Dill's Mother, Lloyd Hutchinson as Link Deas, Tom Mannion as Sheriff Heck Tate, David Sturzaker as Horace Gilmer and Natasha Williams as Mrs Dubose's Maid. The To Kill a Mockingbird ensemble is completed by Helen Belbin, Laurence Belcher, Paul Birchard, Ryan Ellsworth, Rebecca Hayes, Danny Hetherington, Matthew Jure, Anna Munden and Itoya Osagiede.

The To Kill a Mockingbird play is based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer-Prize winning novel, which follows a court case in 1930s Alabama told through the eyes of a child. To Kill a Mockingbird is adapted by Aaron Sorkin, and features direction by Bartlett Sher. The adaptation premiered on Broadway in 2018, and was nominated for nine Tony Awards including best direction. Find out more about To Kill a Mockingbird in London here

The To Kill a Mockingbird creative team includes design by Miriam Buether, costumes by Ann Roth, lighting by Jennifer Tipton, sound by Scott Lehrer and an original score by Adam Guettel.

To Kill a Mockingbird is at the Gielgud Theatre from 10 March.
