Death Drop returns to the West End in spring 2022, starring acclaimed RuPaul’s Drag Race drag queens. Death Drop tickets are available on London Theatre now.
Set in 1991, a group of drag kings and drag queens come together for a 10th anniversary dinner party for Princes Charles and Princess Diana. During the soirée , guests reveal their sordid pasts to one another. However, this party is a gathering like no other, and it eventually turns into a thrilling murder mystery. Can the drag kings and queens find the rampant killer underneath their noses?
The self-confessed “Drag-atha Christie” play opened at the Garrick Theatre in 2020, and returned for a summer engagement in 2021. Death Drop is now at the Criterion Theatre, and will play a limited West End season.
Death Drop stars RuPaul's Drag Race contestants Jujubee and Kitty Scott-Claus. Jujubee is the first Drag Race queen to compete in four seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race worldwide. Jujubee is joined by Kitty Scott-Claus, a British drag queen who rose to fame in the third series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Previous Drag Race queens to appear in Death Drop include Willam, Latrice Royale, Courtney Act and Monet X Change.
The Death Drop play is produced by TuckShop Productions, an entertainment company that specialises in drag productions. TuckShop also host shows at the Underbelly Festival, and the company also staged Dick Whittington at the Phoenix Theatre.
